I downloaded from the internet " jj2 mac version" fans, I wish you good luck, hope you will succeed.īut didn't worked, cause of the emulator. We should all help you ,to finish the game faster. JJ2 doesn't require much, has not so many files. I know that programming is very hard and complicated, but what I also know ,is that there are many other games that were ported to psp, wich had more files than JJ2. If you started working on it, finish it, make it work. You will make many fans proud, especially me -). The thing is that JJ2 has not been ported to any portable gaming device, or mobile phone. how to install jj2 using the x86 emu? where so the emulator will recognise the game.?Īll the Jazz jackrabbit fans want jj2 ported to psp. does the x86 emulator, run old windows games. I have all, custom firmware, iso loader, recovery cfw. So maybe I'll start a project like this next year. However, at the moment I'm very busy on jj2-android gip and my servers, let alone college. I'm planning on making an android app for this. Nostalgia warning, well, at least if you're one of those ppl. And you'll WILL need custom firmware on your PSP, and an ISO/homebrew loader.īut to be honest, I'd like to see JCS for mobile phones, or for example psp. Don't expect to much however, emulators are mostly buggy. I don't have my PSP here at the moment, but I might try it out in a few weeks and post the results. I think there is a bigger chance in using an emulator, although speed/directX support might be an issue.Ī x86 emulator on the PSP that succeeded in running Win95 and Linux. I can't say I have much experience in programming for the PSP, but I can guess It'll be hard to port JJ2 to the PSP without the sourcecode. You might have to rewrite a lot of the game, if not all of it. JJ2 on PSP as a "psp-application" is going to take a lot of work.
